The Rosebud Over 50’s Social Club is the ideal venue to relax and enjoy our friendly atmosphere.
The Over 50’s Club is open most days of the week, with activities to keep you fit and your brain active. We don’t get too bogged down with rules and regulations, and the activities are intended more as Social events with friends joining and returning to share their anecdotes.
A PLACE TO SOCIALISE & KEEP ACTIVE
Formed in 1961 the Club has had a colourful history, with the first of two extensions including the car park completed and opened by Cr J.M. Turner on 25 Jul 1985. The second extension which added the Annex or “Speke Room” was opened by Cr Les Thomas on 18 Apr 1991. Our continual improvements, now incorporate the “Rosebud Room”, that is main hall, licensed to seat 250 people with a raised stage and full Audio- Visual system and the “Speke Room” or annex, licensed to seat 150 people.

The refurbishments include the Snooker/Pool room with two, 3/4-sized snooker/pool tables and the new commercial-standard kitchen
